‘Hold on a minute, Mummy just wants a teeny weeny peek in the Oxfam bookshop!’
Finding ourselves in Haverfordwest with twenty minutes to spare between our trip to the library and my daughter’s football practice, I persuaded her that a quick look in the Oxfam bookshop would be the perfect way to fill the time. I was right, and I came out with some great finds. My daughter found a few new titles to add to her growing fiction collection too, so we both came away happy.
Here’s my haul.
The only downside to my new acquisitions is the conundrum of where to place Zadie Smith’s N-W on my colour-coded bookshelves – yellow, red or blue? Oh well, *sigh* there’s always one!
