View over the top of my book #12

Things are so busy at the moment, that the only peace I seem to get is before leaving for work. It’s a nice time of year for sunrises, and I get ready early, so there is time to sit outside my front door for a while. I have a little folding chair, my cup of tea, a shawl around my shoulders and a blanket over my lap, in the mode of a frail pensioner on Worthing sea front. It’s the shape of things to come.

Although, my daughter texted me this picture, as when she got home from school this inconvenient business had just started. I think I may need an extra blanket tomorrow. And an umbrella for my book.
